Mission Statement
Central Valley Reefers is a group of dedicated marine aquarium hobbyists
committed to bringing together people with similar interests throughout
Central California. In doing so, we support ecologically-friendly propagation
techniques, sharing knowledge through planned events and activities, and
providing assistance to fellow enthusiasts in an open and friendly atmosphere.

Central Valley Reefers Membership
CVR Membership dues are paid annually at a rate of $20. per individual or $30. per family/household. These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Governing Board to ensure the integrity of the club’s financial standing. Dues may be paid directly to a member of the CVR BOD or via the CVR website based PayPal account. CVR Membership is non-transferable. In the case of membership revocation, membership dues shall be prorated each month from the time of membership initiation or renewal at the rate of $1.66 for individuals, or $2.50 for a family.

At the Christmas social tonight, we announced that we had three members who have gone above and beyond in their roles as CVR members. Through their generous participation, the club has grown and kept interest. It's through these gestures of kindness that we all benefit. In an attempt to show our appreciation for these efforts, these three individual were singled out and the one in attendance, Bruce, was given the gift of some very fine zoanthid corals from ExoticFrags.us. While the other two members weren't able to make the social, we will be contacting them to set up a time to ship them some nifty coral gifts as well.
With that said, let's all give thanks to Bruce and jeremys for their heading up the CVR booth at the recent BAYMAC event. Through their help and the donations of fellow members, the club was able to gain over $500 to go towards future events. Their selfless efforts are greatly... [Read More]
