Here is a pic of my oak wall unit. I finally got it all stained. Man that was lot of work. I did keep it off the carpet. I guess the repeated threats from wife helped. :0

This stand will house a three sides Starphire tank from AO...and lots of goodies from Andy at My Reef Creations.

Here is another from the side view. This is the book shelf side, the other is a computer desk. I will using the space under the tank and to the left for aquarium related stuff. I will also be storing my ballasts and chiller on top of the center.

This is the pic of my electrical seup. Three 20 amp circuits brought in from the side of the house, under the tank stand and to the left side.

The center and left side interior cabinets have been sealed with silicone and marine spar varnish.

Yeah it was a pain staining something this large already placed around carpet and adjacent to painted walls. I masked off everything and still had a few messes on the walls. 80

One thing I am not real happy with though...is the 3/4" oak veneer took the dark stain differently than the solid oak moldings. Not bad, just enough to make me notice. ;) Once the doors are all up and I put some wood oil over it all I think it will even out.
