Sorry guys, I already bought that fish.
Tacocat, I saw that you were interested in getting some corals from tfp (Tim). He's a great guy to deal with, you won't be disappointed.

(In a heavy breath, Darth Vador voice)... "Come to the dark side, Whodah... resistance is futile." OK... so I'm mixing my sci-fi's. :D
I guess I've been into Styx as well as stix. ;)

I keep asking him, if he's only gonna have softies and zoos, what the heck does he need 4 250HQI pendants for? There's only 1 thing that need those...COLORED STIX..although the anemones will appreciate it too...

My thoughts exactly. Let me see. We will probably see 7watts per gallon over a zoo tank? All of the TOTM zoo tanks are all VHO or PC. My Spider Sense tells me that Dr. Whodah has ulterior motives.

ahhhh, u never know w/ me man.. i'm just NUTS MAN!
i'm the kinda guy that swims RIGHT AFTER EATING!! i don't even care, man!! splash!!
i'll sort through 100 sheets of paper at work WITHOUT ONE OF THOSE RUBBER FINGER JOBIES TO PREVENT PAPER CUTS! most people just FREAK OUT around page 12 and go get one of them things. not me, man!!!
i'm tellin ya man... i'm out there!
sometimes, when i'm all alone man, i'll watch a dvd in PAN AND SCAN!!! i'm tellin ya, i skip RIGHT over that widescreen mode option!!
tacocat: hrm.. never noticed that before.. but the two zo tanks taht made totm are indeed non-halide. one other softy tank which is halide. the rest of the totm, all 30'ish of them, are rigged for those stix people! i'm callin x-files out to reveal this conspiracy...

not a zo tank, but a softies tank in general
10:00 AM VHO actinics turn on. (IceCap 660 ballast powers two 160 watt VHO super actinic 03's)
12:00 PM Aquaspacelight turns on. (AB Aquaspacelight with three 250 watt 13K double-ended HQI metal halide bulbs.)
8:00 PM Aquaspacelight turns off.
9:00 PM VHO actinics turn off.
while it's true, i do not like stix... did i mention i like clams? ;)
well, it's not that i don't like stix, it's just that they don't do much for me. considering their caretaking level, i figure, why bother?
i can tell u though: i'll end up w/ some!
two reasons:
1) weatherson and tacocat have repeatedly threatened to no longer go on fish trips w/ me if i don't
2) my wife likes 'em. and here's a whodah-ism: what the wife likes in this hobby, the wife GETS in this hobby! hence shrimp in the tank and no mystery wrasse! and star polyps (ok, i like those too), and a few leathers, and ... although she loves hawk fish... so maybe someday i'll swing the shrimp-less way and get my MW!

Styx aren't that tough. You will get better colors, and the frags are good for trades. BTW, I thought the rubber finger deal was so supposed to stop that whole finger licking deal.

Nah, not him, he still licks the finger, then complains about the rubber taste! But he's on the edge, theres no stopping him! Why I'll bet he even drinks milk the day after it expires! He really likes to live dangerously... LOL!!

Neil, well we all have noticed that repeated floodings haven't stop him. Quite the contrast to his riot gear/zoo fraggin outfit.

that's what they want u to believe man... i'm here to tell u: that's not what they're for!!
and BoomerD: i LOVE that taste, mayyynnn!! of both the rubber finger jobbies AND day-old milk!

Saltybob has one, gorgeous, he says it hasn't touched a single zoo. which is suprising, because he has those really tasty ones, blues with orange fringe, super reds, peach with green fringe.
