    Wow...nice BIG tank you have there! Beautiful orange cap coral! You may want to scrap the coraline algae off the front of the glass, just a suggestion.

    yeah I tend to let the coralline algae grow for too long. I usually end up taking the hood off and go at it with a credit card every couple of months.

    I would like to add another 250w, but since I'm living at my parents house with the tank and a greenhouse kept at 50* I don't want to increase the electric bill any more. I have thought about switching to t5s, less heat and electricity.
