Any chance there's an update link for the file? I'd love to learn more on how to do photography of aquariums.

I will reach out to Patrick who created the PowerPoint. In the mean time please don't hesitate to post up some questions or pictures. Practice makes perfect. I'm not half the photography Jetstream is but he taught me a lot. Check out my tank thread for some pics. The hardest part for most reefers seems to be taking pics under our rather blue lighting.

Thanks! I think my biggest struggle is with focus. I know it's hard to get a crisp photo since fish are most often moving but to let as much light in as possible, many times I end up focusing on part of the fish but it moves and the rest of it is out of focus or I will accidentally focus on the rock as the fish moves.

Aperature and Shutter speed are always a hard combo with limited lighting, but even with bright tanks it seems like focus can be off easily with the moving fish.

It's amazing how aquariums look to our eyes but cameras still have difficulty capturing what we see.

I struggle with capturing fish as well. They don't sit still when I ask them to do so. You will need faster shutter speed to catch them. Jetstream was the master of this. He would shoot in manual mode and not use autofocus.
