ok im looking a a new build with floating canopy i was wondering what everyone but the t5 height at because i need to pick up some medal to weld the brace the canopy off the stand not the roof i know led are 6 to 12in and ive seen t5 placed higher and lower

Ugh - such a tough question. I've seen some that are so close to the water, I thought they were breaching! And I've seen some 3' off the water. Most of mine are 2 to 3 feet off the water, but I'm dealing w/ 12" tall frag tanks and the light-intense corals are just 6" beneath the surface.
Maybe I could help this way: what PAR are you hoping to hit at what depth?
